Creative Idea #2: Our Own 21st Century Partner Network

Following directly on from the principles of "Listening Before Advising" and "Solving Your Problems", we have already built a partner network that allows us to advise impartially and to arrange delivery of the widest possible range of solutions and services.  

Having already operated successfully both as an Independent Software Vendor (ISV) with our own small range of solutions and also as a traditional Value Added Reseller (VAR) of packaged solutions from other ISV's, we wanted to go one stage further and be able to offer genuinely impartial advice to our clients as to where they could find the very best off-the-shelf, packaged solutions for their needs, whether or not we actually had those solutions in our portfolio or actually represented the ISV in question.

With this in mind, we started speaking to other specialist Notes-Domino ISV's that we knew of and very quickly established that many of the very best ISV's out there actually welcomed the opportunity to partner with us and to then collaborate in a new and flexible manner that goes way beyond that of the traditional Vendor-VAR relationship. Those organizations have become our Vendor Partners.

Spurred on by this success, we started speaking with independent Notes-Domino technologists (systems architects, administrators & developers) as well as fellow IBM Business Partners who focus on Professional Service Delivery rather than specifically on packaged solution provision and found a similar story there. Those individuals and organizations have become our Service Partners.

Today, EBSG represents perhaps the largest and fastest growing professional network of Notes-Domino specialists in the world and is capable of providing (via that network) by far the broadest range of off-the-shelf, packaged solutions and associated-or-complementary services that you are likely to find.
